The working principle of the automatic locking screw machine

  • The automatic locking screw machine includes an automatic screw alignment unit, an automatic screw conveying unit, an automatic screw tightening unit, and a detection unit during the locking process.
    The screw automatic alignment unit mainly arranges the loose screws neatly and outputs them individually. The aligning unit can be realized by a vibrating disc sorting mechanism or a rocker-type screw aligning mechanism.
    The automatic screw conveying unit mainly conveys the entire row of screws to the working head of the screw tightening unit.
    The automatic screw tightening unit includes a rotating power part and a screw introduction part. The common ways of introducing screws are air blowing and adsorption. Generally speaking, the air blowing type does not need to move the head back and forth because the work is continuous, so the overall efficiency is better than that of the   adsorption type. However, the blow-in type itself is limited by the shape and aspect ratio of the screw, and not every type of screw is suitable for the blow-in type. The detection unit includes the detection of screw leakage, floating lock, material jam and other problems.

    The commonly used automatic locking screw machine should also include functions such as workpiece alignment and screw hole alignment. 

    The most common are single-axis screw tightening system and multi-axis screw tightening system.

    Single-axis screw tightening system with X-Y manipulator or transfer platform can realize fully automatic screw tightening. The XY-table type automatic screw-locking machine is especially suitable for screw locking of single workpieces with multiple holes, and has high work efficiency.
    Hand-held automatic screw-locking machine, screw conveying and screwing can be done in one go, no need to take the screws by hand. Greatly improve production efficiency, save labor, you can play as fast as you want. Each time a screw is finished, the machine will automatically transport it to the batch nozzle. In addition to the hand-held automatic locking screw machine, there are currently fully automatic screw machines on the market, which are controlled by a computer. Input the drawing into the computer, and the screw position can be controlled by the computer without manual operation. , In addition to the single screw locking machine described above, there is also a multi-axis automatic locking screw machine on the market. The multi-axis automatic locking screw machine can lock multiple screws at the same time, which can replace multiple workers; for example, the 16-axis automatic locking screw machine can lock 16 screws at the same time. The number of shafts can be customized according to customer requirements; each screw lock time is about 2s ; The machine is the most cost-effective, and the cost is usually recoverable within one year.

The machine will automatically transfer a screw to the electric screwdriver mouth when lifting the screwdriver, wait for the next screw to be locked, and repeat. Advantages: faster than traditional locking screws, saving manpower. Disadvantages: Because the lock nozzle is larger than the lock head, it may affect the line of sight and hinder the alignment when paying for some workpieces. Its characteristic is that it can move freely without restriction.
    3. According to the structure of the automatic locking screw machine, it can be divided into:
    ① The X-Y axis automatic screw machine is used for production and assembly where product models change frequently and there are a large number of lock screws for each product. It is suitable for automatic assembly of screws for electronic products, such as mobile phones, mice, radios and other products. The cost is usually relatively high. Good stability, strong flexibility and high efficiency.
    XY desktop automatic locking screw machine is a spatial movement method, there are three main types: one is to move the object to be locked on the platform to move in the X-Y direction, and the electric screwdriver is fixed on the top to move in the Z direction. The other is to be fixed by the lock, and the electric batch does X-Y-Z movement. The third is to move the object to be locked in X or Y direction, and the electric screwdriver to move in X-Z or Y-Z direction. Advantages: flexible, can be applied to different products by modifying the coordinates of the lock point. Disadvantages: more expensive than handheld, and not as efficient as multi-axis.
    ②Multi-axis automatic screw machine is suitable for mass production of products. It can lock multiple screws at the same time. Its efficiency is the highest. The installation location drawing or physical object is required;
    More than two axes can be called a multi-axis automatic locking screw machine. It can lock multiple screws at the same time, which can replace multiple workers. For example, a four-axis automatic locking screw machine can lock 4 screws at a time. The automatic locking screw machine of the shaft needs to be customized according to the customer's workpiece and screws. Advantages: Manually just pick up the product, the machine will automatically lock the screw and judge whether the screw is locked, whether there is a floating tooth, if there is an unlocked machine, it will automatically alarm and cost-effective, multi-axis sharing a feeder machine is simple and practical, Convenient for employees to master and debug. Good versatility and can remove part of the electric batch. Disadvantages: The more the number of axes, the worse the stability. You need to find an established company to do it.
    ③On-line type is mainly used to complete the screw-locking process with the production line, automatic feeding, automatic locking, and module slider control. When the product flows to the position where the product is set to be locked, the electric batch will automatically move the position to automatically lock and pay.
